Also, a vital question is, are the passwords used for registration at ethereum-wallet.net leaked/compromised? Or are they securely stored as salted hashes? I feel some users including myself would like to know. This is because it's a common user practice to use the same password across all or some platforms/websites/logins and if a particular variant of our passwords have also been compromised, it might be good to know so that we can change all other sites matching the same password variant.
So again back to my main question:
Are the passwords stored on ethereum-wallet.net stored as hashes/salted-hashes or as plaintext?
